For more than 30 years, I have been a dedicated private practicing attorney. I am licensed to practice law in Texas and Ohio. I concentrate my legal services in the areas of small business, tax, bankruptcy, and immigration law. I work agressively for my clients, providing them with effective and skilled legal counsel.
I have served as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in the Southern District of Ohio and worked as a Special Counsel to the State of Ohio, Office of the Attorney General for more than 19 years handling bankruptcy, tax and collection cases. In addition, I served as an Assistant Professor of Business Law at Eastern Kentucky University as well as a lecturer for Continuing Legal Education seminars on tax and bankruptcy law over the last 25 years. I taught tax law as an adjunct professor at Capital University Law School, and I formerly served as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Law Program at the University of Houston Law Center, where I taught Professional Tax Ethics
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree from The Ohio State University. I received my Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Capital University Law School.
