Haynes & Haynes, LLC was founded in 1990 by Douglas J. and Eleanor Beavers Haynes. As partners in life and at work their focus was on building a strong practice dedicated to individuals and small businesses. From the onset of their practice, Doug and Eleanor committed themselves to providing quality legal services for small growing businesses and individuals unable to afford the higher priced larger firms in Columbus. Through the dedicated efforts of the Founders, Haynes & Haynes, LLC has established a strong professional reputation in the local and surrounding communities and continues to offer quality legal services at reasonable rates. The Law Firm has grown since 1990 and represents a variety of small businesses, individuals, and other clients in civil matters.

On February 21, 2008, Douglas J. Haynes passed away from Acute Promylocytic Leukemia. As Co-Founder of Haynes & Haynes, LLC, his legal talents and strength of character laid the foundation for a solid and well respected Law Firm. His vision and commitment to building a law practice to serve a diverse community has provided the anchor for Haynes & Haynes, LLC to continue to grow and provide excellent legal services to Columbus and the surrounding communities. Doug’s many civic and community activities included serving as a Commissioner for the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, one of the Founding Members of the David D. White Scholarship Fund at Capital University Law School, and Vice President of the African-American Alumni Association. Douglas was a man of great faith, spirit and exemplary character. He was a faithful member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church for over sixteen years.

Since Doug’s passage, Eleanor has continued his vision and legacy by providing superior legal services to the diverse clients of Haynes & Haynes, LLC. She has expanded the Law Firm and is joined by a talented staff of Attorneys, paralegals, and support staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional and affordable legal services to our clients and the surrounding community. The Firm continues to offer professional legal services in the areas of Tax, Bankruptcy, Small Business representation, Municipal Finance, Real Estate, Non-Profit Law, Government Collections, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation. Eleanor has dedicated herself to continuing the strong traditions of excellent and affordable legal services which were established in 1990 with the creation of Haynes & Haynes, LLC.
