Eleanor Beavers Haynes is a Member in the law firm of Haynes & Haynes LLC. She has more than twenty years of legal experience in the areas of Business, Tax and *Bankruptcy. She has been an Assistant Professor of Business Law at Eastern Kentucky University and a lecturer for Continuing Legal Education seminars in the area of Tax Law. She has also been an Adjunct Instructor in Tax for Capital University's Paralegal Program.
Mrs. Haynes is a former Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee with the United States Trustee's Office. She serves as a neutral Arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum. She is Special Counsel to the Attorney General State of Ohio.
She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association; Ohio State Bar Association; Member, (IWIRC) International Women's Insolvency and Reconstructing Confederation (Bankruptcy); Women Lawyers of Franklin County; Ohio Women's Bar Association; Bankruptcy Judicial Liaison Committee; Creditors Education Coalition; American Bankruptcy Institute; and the National Bar Association.
Mrs. Haynes is involved in a variety of civic and professional organizations in the Columbus community. She is an active contributor to her local church and community.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from The Ohio State University. She received her Juris Doctorate degree and a Master of Laws Taxation (LLM) from Capital University Law School.
Her practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of Taxation, *Bankruptcy and General Business Law.
